How long has your
firm been using APS software?
Since 1999
Why do you continue
to attend the APS conferences?
I go to review the new products in development, to spend time networking
with other firms and share ideas, meet the APS staff in person (put a
face to the voice) and have a good time!
What has been your
main take home messages from the conference?
For me, reviewing the development roadmap shows us the future direction
of the software.
It also shows APS’s commitment to the technology and to continuous
improvement of their products.
What are the benefits
for your firm by you attending the conference?
While it’s great that I review the new products/upgrades and so
on, it’s also a very good chance to meet people from other firms
in similar situations as ourselves and be able to discuss common issues,
solutions, etc.
We also get to speak to the APS consultants and pick up a lot of information
as well. I get to pass that on to others in my firm, first hand.
What are the benefits
for you attending the conference in your everyday
work?
It helps with our IT planning cycle – we can review the new products
and upgrades and work out whether they will fit in with our current and
future plans.
What should firms
who have not attended before expect from an APS
conference?
A lot of information, opportunities to meet a lot of new people from
other firms, and plenty of socialising!
Are you coming along
to the conference this year?
We usually review the conference content before making a decision. The
conferences I have attended so far have definitely been worth it.
